Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 2026 Nebraska Hospitality Awards Celebration!
Members, guests and industry partners from across Nebraska came together for an unforgettable evening of connection, recognition and timeless hospitality. Our Roaring 20s-themed celebration featured a lively cocktail reception, heavy appetizers and small plates, a silent auction, our annual awards program and a special presentation from Dan Hoppen of the Restaurant Hoppen Podcast.
Most importantly, we celebrated the remarkable individuals whose leadership, service and dedication continue to move Nebraska’s hospitality industry forward.
Proceeds from the silent auction benefited the ongoing work of the Nebraska Hospitality Association and the Hospitality Educational Foundation, including scholarships for students pursuing careers in culinary arts and hospitality.

Dan Hoppen is a passionate advocate for Omaha’s local restaurant scene, dedicated to helping the Omaha community discover exceptional dining experiences they may not have known existed.
Through his social media platforms and his website Restaurant Hoppen, he highlights the people, places, and stories that define our culinary community. Dan also hosts the Restaurant Hoppen podcast, where he gives a voice to the chefs and restaurateurs who make Nebraska’s hospitality industry so vibrant and unique.

During our annual gathering, guests of the Associations from across Nebraska make new connections and catch up with old friends. This year’s event will include a cocktail reception, delicious buffet meal, and a silent auction. Auction proceeds support the important work of the Association as well as the Hospitality Educational Foundation, which provides scholarship opportunities for students pursuing higher education in the fields of culinary and hospitality.
